Vitrified tiles do come in 2 varieties - Glazed and matte finish. Glazed (shiny) ones are more common. The matte finish ones are also available but are not so common.
The glazed ones are easy to maintain as dirt/dust do not stick as easily to the glazed surface. However they can be slippery, especially if they are in an area where there is water spillage. Matte finish ones easily attract dust/dirt and are difficult to maintain. You may consider matte finish for areas that are relatively less used.
Vitrified tile pieces are relatively large and therefore are suceptible to bending. You should choose good quality tiles that are strong and not likely to bend. If bending occurs after the tiles are laid, you will have an uneven floors. Also, while laying you need to ensure that each tile is on a thick mix and the edges of the tiles align. You need to hire an experienced mason.
